NEW ADVISORY: ‘DO NOT DRIVE’ WARNING FOR ALL AFFECTED VEHICLES WITH OPEN TAKATA RECALLS

Out of an abundance of caution, all vehicles affected by the Takata Airbag Inflator recalls, that have not yet had the recall(s) completed, are now under a 'DO NOT DRIVE' advisory. Mazda strongly urges owners of affected vehicles to have their vehicles repaired immediately.
Please contact Mazda Roadside Assistance directly at 1-877-756-2932 to have your vehicle towed, free of charge, or contact your preferred authorized Mazda Retailer to further discuss and accommodate your needs. Towing is offered free of charge by Mazda if your vehicle is affected by the DO NOT DRIVE advisory.

RECALL INFORMATION

It has been determined that certain driver and/or passenger air bag inflators supplied by Takata are defective and extremely dangerous. In affected vehicles with Takata air bag inflators, metal shrapnel can explode from the air bags in the event of a crash. This can cause serious injury or death to vehicle occupants. Should you determine that your vehicle is affected by this recall, Mazda encourages you to take immediate action to contact your preferred Mazda Retailer and have your vehicle repaired for FREE.

Owners of affected vehicles will be notified by priority mail.
